The Arc Mid-South’s 24th Annual Awards & Benefit Gala was held on October 26th 2019. The Arc Mid-South’s 24th annual Awards and Benefits gala was held on Saturday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Memphis Botanic Gardens. This year’s gala theme was “Bridging the Voices: Celebrating Memphis’ Bicentennial”. Joyce Peterson from WMCTV was this year’s moderator, and saxophonist Antonio Hopson provided live entertainment for the crowd during the event. This year’s event featured both silent and live auctions. John Roebuck from John Roebuck Auctions was the auctioneer for the live auction, which featured a variety of enticing items, including a basketball signed by Penny Hardaway, a football signed by Marcus Morieta of the Tennessee Titans, and several resort vacations donated by Elite Island Resorts.
