EVERYONE IS WITHIN REACH
The Arc Mid-South works everyday to empower families and individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to provide information and resources during the journey of raising a child with a disability to lead a full and meaningful life. We work to empower people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to be independent. Our services span across a lifetime and we are committed to being among the first trusted sources that people visit when needing information on programs, services, resources and support.

We assist parents with understanding laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). A community advocate is available to consult with families about special education disputes and attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when necessary. Our Family Support Services department encompasses a large spectrum of services and programs.
The program has expanded to include personal assistance, mentoring, and community participation tailored for individuals who are more independent in their self-help skills. Click here for more information.
