Our Services

The Arc Mid-South works everyday to empower families and individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to provide information and resources during the journey of raising a child with a disability to lead a full and meaningful life. We work to empower people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to be independent. Our services span across a lifetime and we are committed to being among the first trusted sources that people visit when needing information on programs, services, resources and support.

Arc Advocacy Program

We assist parents with understanding laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). A community advocate is available to consult with families about special education disputes and attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when necessary. Click here for Information flyer.

Career Development

The Arc Mid-South provides career development and job placement services to adults with disabilities.  The Arc Mid-South’s Career Development and Job Placement Program works to ensure that people with disabilities have access to real employment with real wages, as well as the needed supports to obtain and maintain employment in the community.

Community Outreach

The Arc Mid-South hosts workshops and training events to help individuals with disabilities and their families maneuver through the vast array of programs and services needed for proper care giving and fulfilled living.

Arc Family Support Services

Our Family Support Services department encompasses a large spectrum of services and programs.
