The The Arc Mid-South is excited to announce that Elizabeth M. Gillespie, Ph.D. has joined our team this year as the 2023 Gala Committee Chair. Elizabeth M. Gillespie, Ph.D. joined the faculty at the University of Memphis as an assistant professor in the Department of Public and Nonprofit Administration in 2020 and is affiliate faculty with the Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. Dr. Gillespie’s research focuses on nonprofits, philanthropy, and social change. Her career motivation is to positively contribute to social change through research and education.
