The Arc Mid-South hosted its 5th annual "International Tea and Fashion Show" on April 27th at Lindenwood Christian Church. With over 100 people in attendance, the event was a great success.
The event featured a sampling of delicious global cuisines, a fashion show, and world entertainment. The event included performances from Ballet on Wheels, a ballet group for youth, Mystic River Dance, a contemporary dance group, and Karsilama, a tribal bellydance group. The event was moderated by Janeen Gordon of WMC Action News 5.
The event also featured a stunning fashion show showcasing fashions from Coco Luxe Style, Unique Boutique, and Lavish A. Luxe Style. The Fashion Show moderator was Sherrye Smith.
Countries around the world were represented by tables creatively decorated by The Arc Mid-South staff, volunteers, and friends of the organization. Over 15 countries were represented including China, Ireland, Mexico, and Jamaica. The tables displayed items related to their food, fashion, art, and culture.
